Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tactic Remote ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Independent Product Disclaimer

The names Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. Tactic Remote is a companion tool built to work with Claude Code CLI, but it is developed and maintained independently.

Any issues, bugs, or problems with Tactic Remote should be directed to our support channels, not to Anthropic.

3. Description of Service

Tactic Remote provides a remote-control interface for Claude Code CLI sessions running on your Mac, Linux, or Windows machine. The Services consist of:

• The Tactic Remote iOS app for remote monitoring and control.
• The macOS server app with menu-bar UI and Sparkle auto-update.
• The Linux server app, distributed via our website and GitHub Releases.
• The Windows companion app (currently in Preview).
• The tacticremote npm package — a command-line launcher distributed via the npm registry.
• The marketing website at tacticremote.com and its documentation.

You must separately install and configure Claude Code CLI on your computer. We do not provide Claude Code CLI or any Anthropic services.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Tactic Remote offers these purchase options:

• Pro Monthly: $2.99 per month, auto-renewable subscription.
• Pro Yearly: $19.99 per year, auto-renewable subscription.
• Pro Lifetime: $39.99 one-time non-consumable purchase.

Free accounts include core remote-control functionality with these limits: up to 2 saved servers, up to 2 concurrent tmux sessions, up to 5 custom command snippets, and 5 minutes per month of Cloud Speech-to-Text. Pro removes these limits and unlocks additional features.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial periods except where required by law or granted by Apple.

Lifetime Purchase

Pro Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase that grants Pro access for the lifetime of the App, meaning as long as Tactic Remote remains available and maintained. It does not guarantee perpetual availability. If the App is discontinued, lifetime purchases are not refundable beyond Apple's standard refund window.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your API keys and server credentials secure.
• Ensuring your use of Claude Code CLI complies with Anthropic's terms.
• Configuring appropriate access restrictions and security settings.
• All actions taken through the App on your devices.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations.
• Access systems or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt services or networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tactic Remote and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC and are referenced only to describe compatibility.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use it at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TACTIC REMOTE, ITS DEVELOPERS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App.
• Errors or omissions in any content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tactic Remote and its developers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time without prior notice if we believe your conduct violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
